Heading West

Today we left lovely Jasper and set off to drive the 320 K to Clearwater Springs Ranch in Wells Gray Provincial Park.

We stopped off to admire Mount Robson, which at almost 4,000 metres is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

We drove, and drove.....the roads are long, and wide, and straight.

Wells Gray is famous for its waterfalls - this is Dawson Falls

And this is Helmcken Falls, the third highest in Canada

After many hours we finally arrived at the dirt road up to the ranch

We have shared a lovely dinner with the other guests and are feeling weary, especially as we changed time zones on the way here so our body clocks think it's later than it officially is. Weird.
